I've been mulling over all the various types of hugs there are. Hugs can say so many different things. Things like: I'm sorry you're hurting, I care about what's happening in your life, I'm fond of you, I like to be with you, thank you for what you did, I'm proud of you, I'm glad you're happy and I'm happy with/for you, congratulations, good job, I wish I could fix the problem, I'm sorry I was mean, I'm going to miss you, etc.
