Definition of 'conform' - to act in accordance with prevailing standards or customs.
I Peter 1:14 - As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.
Romans 12:2 - Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
I wonder how often I thoughtlessly go along with "prevailing standards or customs" of the world, and don't weigh what I observe in light of Scripture. Or worse, don't weigh my own actions. Am I conforming in ways I don't even see?
Hmm... things to think on.
