"And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the Lord's people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!" Numbers 11:29
Sometimes I wonder at our apathy. Alright, I won't blame you. Maybe you're not like me. Rephrase: Sometimes I wonder at my own apathy.
There's a whole world out there that needs to hear the Good News. What am I doing about it? There are people seeking God's direction for their lives. Do I allow God to speak through me? There are people in desperate need of physical healing. How quick am I to lay hands on them and pray for them? There are people without hope. Do I look for opportunities to speak encouragement into their lives? There are people who are wavering in their walk with God. Do I speak faith in the face of difficulties? There are people possessed by evil spirits. Am I willing to be the one God can use to set them free?
God grant me courage to be a prophet to my generation.
"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit" Joel 2:28,29
It's not just a pastor thing.
It's not just an evangelist thing.
It's not just a man thing.
It should be MY thing too.
"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any ly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Mark 16:17,18
Doesn't sound to me like He meant for those things to only be done by certain people. He said 'them that believe'.
I'm a believer. Therefore, these things should be following me.
But are they?

If You can use anything Lord
You can use me
If You can use anything Lord
You can use me
Take my hands, Lord
And my feet
Touch my heart, Lord
And speak through me
If You can use anything Lord
You can use me
You can use me
If You can use anything Lord
You can use me
Take my hands, Lord
And my feet
Touch my heart, Lord
And speak through me
If You can use anything Lord
You can use me
