Trenton was able to come home for Christmas again this year, so our family felt complete for three weeks. We really miss him when he's not here. Had so much fun! Playing games in the evening, went to a couple live jazz sessions at Toomie's, went to Sisters and moseyed through the shops, had lattes and doughnuts at the local bakery, went cross-country skiing, and packed in as much fun as we possibly could.
Trent's best friend, Leo, was able to fly in for a week as well. I was excited to see him again, and the rest of the family was excited to meet him for the first time. Felt strange knowing someone was playing such an important role in Trent's life, and we didn't even know him. That's what happens when someone you love moves far away. *upside-down smile* Anyhow, we had lots of fun with both the guys here. I stayed up waaaaaaaay too late (almost every night!), played Settlers of Catan with them, went caving, ate Cuban food (thanks to Leo's cooking), and we took Leo on his first adventure in cross-country skiing.
