Yup. I did.
I quit my job at the bookstore.
If I were working for a secular company I would expect unethical behaviors to go along with the territory. But in a company that claims to be a Christian company, I expect Christian behaviors and godly ethics.
This company isn't the same company I was hired in. And it's only getting much, much worse. I hung on for quite a while. After all, there's something to be said for faithfulness and a job well done, right? But this morning after yet another yucky phone call from the DM and more yucky memos and more yucky emails... well, I just decided I'd had enough. And I quit. So did my boss Aurora.
Our last day is November 14.
