It's a wonderful life

Blogging has been tough for me lately. It's not that there's a lack of things going on in my life--there's almost too much! But then when I sit down at my computer it becomes an issue of 'where do I start'.

I see God working in me. Changing some stuff in me. Molding me into a new creation.

I see God working through me. Using me at work. Using me in ways I didn't expect.

I see God working around me. In people I love. In my church.

The post I wrote a few weeks ago called Finding You... I've still been thinking along those lines. I love finding Him in unexpected places, unexpected people, unexpected ways. And the more I look, the more I watch for Him, the more I'm finding Him.

I'm finding Him in the songs emitting from my CD player at work.
I'm finding Him in wounded things being healed.
I'm finding Him in the advice of a baby Christian.
I'm finding Him in the verses that jump off the page at me.
I'm finding Him in a loving voice and loving words.
I'm finding Him in something struggling to crawl that is suddenly given wings to fly.
I'm finding Him in the peaceful center of chaos.
I'm finding Him in answers to prayer, both big and small.
I'm finding Him in the reassurance I asked for. So many times.
I'm finding Him in the growth and new maturity I see in a friend.
I'm finding Him in shared laughter.
I'm finding Him in the encouragement from someone much younger than I.
I'm finding Him in late night phone calls.

I'm finding Him. And it's a wonderful life.
